Lymphatic/Immune System- by Jordan Speights

The lymphatic system is a network of vessels that protects your body from bacteria, sickness, germs etc. It also makes white blood cells

Structure/Functions

  • The tonsils produce antibodies to stop the spread of bacteria
  • Produces T-cells to fight foreign substances
  • The spleen gets rid of old cells, reserves blood for emergencies and recycles iron.
  • Lymph nodes create and release white blood cells into the body
  • adenoid is a clump of tissues that kill bacteria

Enzymes
It does not produce any hormones. Nor does it need any hormones to stay regulated it is just vessels running in the body

Regulation
A lot of organs swell up and need to be removed

Communication
