Muscular System:

Simply, the main job of the muscular system is to provide movement for the body.

The muscular system serves three major functions in the body, producing motion, providing stabilization, and generating heat. The muscles of the body help ones to stand upright, walk and pick up heavy objects. In another word, muscular system is the anatomical system of a species that allows it to move.
Muscle Types:
  • Cardiac - Cardiac muscles are involuntary and found only in the heart. The cardiac muscle is the tissue that makes up the wall of the heart called the mydocardium.

  • Smooth Muscular Tissue - Most of our internal organs is made up of smooth muscles. They are found in the urinary bladder, gallbladder, arteries, and veins.

  • Skeletal Muscles - The skeletal muscles are the only voluntary muscles of your body, and make up what we call the muscular system. They are all the muscles that move you bones and show external movement.

  • In presence of Ca2+, A enzyme myosin ATPase catalyse the reaction to hydrolysis ATP to release energy and make ADP.
  • Calcium ions bind to troponin in thin filament; myosin-binding sites exposed.
  • Myosin cross-bridges alternately attach to actin and detach, pulling thin filament toward the center of sarcomere; ATP powers sliding of filament.
  • ATP is needed to release energy to slide the filament, and cause muscle contraction, and A enzyme myosin ATPase catalyze the reaction of AtP make ADP .
1. Aldolase - An aldolase is an enzyme that cleaves an aldol.
2. Testosterone - Muscle building effects.
3. Aspartate aminotransferase - Some are found in muscle cells.
4. Lactate Dehydrogenase - Found in many body tissues, especially the heart, liver, kidney, skeletal muscle, brain, blood cells and lungs.

Voluntary movements are movement through contraction and relaxation of skeletal muscles. Motor nervous system controls skeletal muscle. An important regulatory protein in muscle contration is tropomyosin. Involuntary movements of smooth muscles in internal oragans are controlled by the automatic nervous system. Many hormone are involves in the involuntary movement of smooth muscle.

The main cell type of muscular system is muscle fiber. The action of this system is closely tied to the action of skeletal system. Nervous system becomes the mean of both regulation and cell communication. The endocrine system works with nervous system to control activities of the cells and tissue in muscular system by coordinate the response to external stimuli, and secretes hormone that maintain normal function in the body. Regulation proteins are produce as signaling agent in muslce cells communication.
